Dr. Wayne G. Myers Pharm. D.
-- Wayne was born and raised in Chambersburg, PA. He moved to Baltimore to attend the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Wayne not only got his Pharmacy degree from Baltimore but he also found his wife, Wendy, there. After graduation, Wayne worked at the Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital in Baltimore. Wayne is happy to talk with anyone about prescription needs or about his kids, Luke, Leah & Josh.

Charlie Hill, RPh
-- Charlie began working at Norland full-time in June of 2005. Charlie hails from Shippensburg. He is a graduate of the University of Sciences in Philadelphia. Charles has a depth of experience in hospital settings; he has practiced pharmacy at both Lancaster General Hospital and Chambersburg Hospital. Charles can occasionally be seen cruising the streets of Chambersburg on his vivid yellow scooter. Charles enjoys the fast-paced environment and quality coworkers he has at Norland.

Bonnie Albright
-- Bonnie began working for Norland Avenue Pharmacy the day that we opened (February 6, 2001). She is originally from Mercersburg. Bonnie is our bookkeeper. In addition to her work at the Pharmacy, Bonnie loves to play cards and travel. Bonnie's favorite part of pharmacy work is “meeting all the nice people.”

Shelly Bowers
-- Shelly is responsible for checking in and displaying all of the gifts items that you'll see in the store. If you are interested in making a special order for a gift item Shelly is the one to see. If you catch Shelly in the store you're sure to get a smile from her.

Hannah Brubaker
-- Hannah is a graduate of Shalom Christian Academy. She plans to
attend Taylor University in the fall with a major in premed Psychology.
You will see her smiling face in the store during the Summer and
College breaks. Hannah is a delight to be around, and she will be more
than happy to assist you while you're shopping at Norland.

Karen Carmack
-- Karen has been coming to the pharmacy as a customer for a number of years, and joined the Norland family at the beginning of August. Karen is married to Donald and they live in Chambersburg. Prior to the pharmacy Karen worked at the Chambersburg Post Office.

Jocelyn Carter
-- Jocelyn started working with us in 2008. She is currently a senior at Chambersburg Area Senior High and has plans to become a pharmacist. In her spare time she likes to read, watch movies, and spend time with family and friends. Her favorite part of working at the pharmcy is learning new things and meeting new people!

Robin College
-- Robin is a full-time Pharmacy Tech. She received her Pharmacy Tech training from Penn Foster. She is known for her steady and consistent work. Robin began working for Norland Avenue Pharmacy in June of 2001. Robin is originally from Chambersburg and currently lives there with her husband, Rodney. She has two children and one grandson, of whom she is very proud. If you didn't guess it, she is Wayne's big sister.

-- Erin is a graduate of Shippensburg High School. She is currently attending Shippensburg University with the hopes of securing her pre-pharmacy degree. She has been a special part of our pharmacy famiy since August of 2007.

-- Kim was originally from Waynesboro, but currently lives in Chambersburg with her husband and three kids. She is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with an English major and Marketing minor. Kim started working at the pharmacy in February of 2008 and has done a wonderful job in her role of marketing and publicity for the pharmacy.

-- Most of the time you'll see Deb at the front desk of the Summit Health building. But whenever she gets a chance she will be at Norland serving you with a smile. Deb's a little camera shy; you'll have to catch her in person in the store.

Matt Hanson
-- Matt graduated from Shippensburg University in December 2005. Well-informed and knowledgeable, Matt assists customers with their questions about vitamins and supplements. He is also in charge of maintaining and recording all drug inventories. Check out the other staff members to see who is related to Matt.

Teresa Hanson
-- Teresa comes to the pharmacy with experience in managerial and assisted-living home care. As a Pharmacy Tech, Teresa provides the precise care needed to assist the Pharmacist with preparation of prescriptions. She will also help to meet your needs while you are shopping in the store. And no, Teresa is not Matt's sister: she is his mom.

-- Wendy is originally from Baltimore, Maryland. She grew up in Parkville and graduated from Loyola College with a bachelor's degree in Elem Ed. After college, Wendy worked for the Calvert School in Baltimore. In February 2001, she moved to PA to become Wayne's business partner and wife. Wendy orders the gifts and specialty items sold in the store.

She enjoys adapting recipes to suit special needs diets (allergy, rotation, elimination) and is currently taste-testing healthier foods and drinks for our customers' snacking and lunching pleasure.
